Hey Beauty Belles! This weeks manicure features a lovely lavender pastel shade from New York Color (NYC) called Lavender Cupcake. It is so light and refreshing. I love how it meshes so well with winter accented shades like burgundies, greens, and navy blues.  


I decided to add my signature glitter spin for a pop of color and definition. I kept getting compliments everywhere I went on the silver on lavender nail combination =)


Forever 21's Love & Beauty nail section has some great hidden gems. I received this glitter polish in a pack of ten for less than $6. I highly recommend investing because the quality is remarkable and worth more than you pay.

Nail Polish Adventures: Meet Purple Posy!

Hey Beauty Belles! I have a new adventure to share with you all. One of my goals for the New Year is to keep up with my nails on a weekly basis. So here I am week two kicking off my Sunday Funday nails. I decided on a bubbly purple shade that was sassy and cute.


I loved the idea of adding some glitter for a nice pop to the color.  


Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure as the main shade, I got this baby on sale for $2.05 at my local target but it usually retails for between $5.99 to $6.99. #SCORE The Love & Beauty glitter purple shade came in a variety pack that was under $5. #SUPERDEAL

Nail Polish Adventures: What's On My Wednesday Wishlist?

This Wednesday I wanted to share my nail polish wishlist for the holiday season. We are slowly leaving Fall behind and approaching Winter and what better shades to keep your nails on trend? I am loving dark hues and Gothic tones. I indicated the shades that tickle my fancy in particular by the pink arrows.

1. Stylenomics- that hunter green is too rich
2. Licorice - what a lovely wine shade, this color is really popping right now too!
3. Luxedo - is an amazing purple violet shade that reminds me of Christmas...so cute.

Nail Polish Adventures: Plastic Flamingo (NEON)

 Hey beauty belles! It's been forever since I've shared a nail polish adventure with you all so here it goes. I know the neon trend is really big this season but I don't believe in splurging too much on trends just staples so I decided the perfect way to have a share of the new trend was through a small item like my polish. I wanted my nails to pot with a trendy cute hue!


So I decided to give this new polish brand called Spoiled a try. It reminded me of my personal favorite, Sinful Color and it was completely affordable at $1.99! It made my purchase all the more sweeter and exciting. The name of this magical shade is Plastic Flamingo reminding me a lot of California for whatever reason, somewhere out in Orange Country or the scandalous, flashy, city of LA. (Random, I know haha)

Nail Polish Adventures: Neutral Spotlight

Hey Belles! I know you guys may find this hard to believe but I finally decided to tone my nails down and dabbled in neutral shades for three weeks straight. Sorry the image quality isn't so great but instagram is my go to for convenient snapshots these days. I was feeling the demure and very keen shades this time around because they really complimented all of my outfits. There was no color clashing or anything off setting the other. It was completely relaxing not worrying about whether my nails were unprofessional or inappropriate.

Nail Polish Adventures: Braziliant!

This weeks manicure shade was a warm orange shade from Essie called "Braziliant." This color makes me mourn those scorching hot summer days or those early spring mornings where you lie about wanting to do nothing but gaze at the blooming flowers. This winter has been quite nontraditional with its peak in warmth rather than harsh cold; so it was so easy for me to pick this summery shade.
I would say this color if anything is the product of a love child between peach and zesty orange. It really makes your fingers glow too! I decided to try something new by putting down my usual glitter top coat and substituted with a crackle shade instead. I know, quite shocking indeed. I just felt like trying out this new polish I scored back in December for less than 3 bucks on Times Square.
The crackle polish is from none other than China Glaze who I've been meaning to try for years, the shade is called "Platinum Pieces." The camera didn't pick up the crackle print too well, I'll just have to work on aiming for better lighting next time around Belles!

Nail Polish Adventures: Blackberry Smoothie

Hey there Belles! I wanted to share with you my latest nail polish adventure with this unexpected treasure I found over at my local fivebelow. In my last nail polish adventure I mentioned how great the Fresh Paint brand was. Judging by all the pink I wear/own--you would never be able to tell that purple/lavender is my true favorite color. So when I saw this cute shade I just had to have it without a thought. It was a great application and very creamy. It truly reminds me of a smoothie haha.
You know this nail polish adventure wouldn't be complete without my glitter combo right? Which is why I decided on a cute sparkling purple polish from Love&Beauty--the Forever21 brand. I got it in a cute set with 5 other glitter polishes. How fab?!
I have to be honest. I think this has been my favorite combination in a long time now making my all time favorite a runner up haha.

Nail Polish Adventures: Pom Pom

My first nail polish adventure of the new year, how exciting? Well pink is one of my favorite colors and after searching for the perfect pink shade to wear, I settled on a creamy light shade called "POM POM" by Fresh Paint. I picked up this polish at my local 5below and was surprised at the size, price and quality of this gorgeous shade.
I decided on a glitter top coat by Milani because it was so stunning--I spotted it at the drug store and just knew I had to have it. It's called "Digital" and it is definitely fab!
Just look at these beauties?! Perfectly paired! I absolutely loved this color combo and I will be honest with you. I will probably do it over again over again!

Nail Polish Adventures: Bowery Black

Hello Belles! I know I said hiatus but I actually had a moment during my break from assignments to do a quick post and I figured I would share some nails! I apologize for the sloppy paint job nothing about me is conventional haha. I've been dying to wear black polish for years but never knew how. I took some pointers from Merely Marie and decided on this shade by N.Y.C "Bowery Black" It is shimmery and still very feminine like.
I decided on a black glitter polish shade called "The Arabian Nights" by Quirius (Q.R.S) to add more of my signature mark to my nails. Both shades were a fabulous value under $2. I know you can't really see the effect well in these pictures either but it looked great!

Nail Polish Adventures: Rise & Shine!

Hey there Beauty Belles! I just wanted to drop in with some nail polish adventures and fun! This week I present, Sinful Colors "Rise & Shine." An awesome cross between green and teal = this perfect shade. What I love best about this one is that it dries to a matte finish, I am sort of kind of obsessed with matte polish and I need more of it too.
And you know I couldn't complete this paint job without adding some glitz and shimmer. I decided to pair up Sinful Colors "Hottie" which is an amazing blue glitter shade that really brings out so much more to any polish shade. Both shades were a fabulous value at $1.99
