Freedom: A Metaphor

  Freedom is letting go of any shame for your urges, your desires, and your beliefs.  Freedom is deserting any notion that your voice does not matter. Freedom is being unwarranted in your decisions, your choices, and your actions. Freedom is letting go dogmatic practices that have stunted you. Freedom is making the effort to no longer yield to the wishes of others. Freedom is partaking in thine own self. Freedom is understanding that it is well to move on. Freedom is believing in your inhibitions truly. Freedom is allowing doubts, negativity, and trauma dissipate. Freedom is picking and choosing who, when, and where you want someone. Freedom is dancing to the beat of your own drum. Freedom is creating your own rhythm.  Freedom is gripping the truth and embracing it. Freedom is finding peace among a passing storm. Freedom is writing the lyrics to your own song.
